How to download, install and configure free CnW-FM
System compatibility
The program is Windows only and has been developed under Windows 10 and Windows 11 (both 64 bits). It runs with a simple to use GUI.
Download the program and run the setup cnwfm_setup.exe. Typically just accept the default values, and then Launch application at the end. It will run in user or admin mode.
This free download, April 20265 is a Beta version. It should not crash and will not change any files. It will scan selected drives and show duplicate files, directories, including testing file with a CRC32 hash value to see if identical. Supports file selection by extension and tests across multiple drives.

Networked drives
CnW-FM will scan and monitor networked drives, but it is essential that they have been mapped to a logical drive letter first. An point to note is that you you wish to run CnW-FM in Admin mode, the standard file mappings do not work.
